TALKS for Verizon Wireless, powered by Nuance, converts the displayed text on your wireless device into highly intelligible speech. The TALKS software has audio feedback for writing and reading text messages, emails and notes. Blind and low-vision users can take advantage of most features, including contact directories, caller ID announcement and hearing letters entered into a password field. Users can also control speech volume and rate of speech. 

Note: TALKS is no longer available for current devices. Only replacement licenses for our current HTC Ozone TALKS customers are available. If you need a replacement license for your HTC Ozone, please call *611 directly from your device for further instructions.

To update your device with the latest version of TALKS right-click the following link to download the update to your PC:

Note: If you have previously downloaded an earlier version of TALKS to your computer from this website, for best results please remove the TALKS package from your computer and replace it with the latest version. This will prevent your from accidently downloading the old version back on your device.

After the download has completed follow instructions in our How to Use Guide to update your TALKS device. Step-by-step instructions are also included in the download.
