At Verizon Wireless, we're committed to increasing accessibility for visually impaired individuals with our wide range of innovative solutions and technologies. Some of the visual solutions we provide are special devices, relevant device features, voice command information, menu readout, accessibility apps, text-formatted manuals, free 411 assistance and our Mobile Accessibility app, which features an intuitive user interface with touch screen navigation, speech recognition and Nuance's Vocalizer® text-to-speech technology.

Hearing Impairments

Verizon Wireless offers the hearing-impaired community the nation's most reliable 3G and largest 4G LTE network available with specialized support solutions and text and data plans. We provide detailed device and service recommendations for hearing-impaired customers, as well as information on video and text relay, TTY/TDD (text telephone/telecommunications device for the deaf) issues and hearing-aid compatibility.

The Verizon Wireless National Accessibility Customer Service Center is staffed with specialized representatives to support customers who may need additional assistance due to a physical or cognitive impairment. The National Accessibility Customer Service Representative can be reached at (888) 262-1999 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.

The National Accessibility Customer Service Representatives can provide support:
