Program Overview

Through the Supplier Diversity team, Verizon Wireless seeks to maximize the utilization of qualified minority-, women-, persons with disability-, disabled veteran-, and Vietnam era veteran-owned business enterprises (M/W/DV BE).

All M/W/DV BE suppliers who are seeking procurement opportunities with Verizon Wireless are required to complete the Supplier online registration form.

Policy

Verizon Wireless is firmly committed to utilizing business concerns, including, minority, women and service-disabled veteran-owned business enterprises and certified small business concerns (M/W/DV BEs) to provide products and services. Verizon Wireless follows a strategic sourcing process that offers a level playing field to all suppliers. Verizon Wireless will seek to utilize M/W/DV BEs to the maximum extent practicable, consistent with the Company's procurement policy, to seek out and acquire products and services, which best fit its business needs and requirements, regardless of source.

Verizon Wireless may require its primary suppliers, who are not certified as M/W/DV BEs, to provide subcontracting opportunities to M/W/DV BEs, consistent with Verizon Wireless policy.
