To Parents, Students and Educators:

As the operator of America's best, most reliable wireless network, Verizon Wireless has been a leader in educating our customers and the public about using wireless behind the wheel, including taking the groundbreaking position of supporting some statewide legislation that requires the use of hands-free devices while driving.

Now, with this vIQSM program, our "Drive Responsibly. Call with Care." campaign is moving to the next level. The vIQSM program, or "vehicle Intelligence Quest", is a unique educational package that encourages new drivers to consider their driving aptitude and educates them about the options for using wireless technologies in vehicles. We developed the curriculum and video using extensive research into this audience's learning habits and the input of an impressively qualified Advisory Board.

Our goal is to give new drivers the information they need to make decisions in real life situations they will encounter throughout their driving career. We are arming them with the knowledge and freedom to make their own choices using their vIQ. I am very proud of this program, and I hope all new drivers embrace our "Drive Responsibly. Call with Care." philosophy.
