IF YOU WANT A ROUGH & TOUGH CELL PHONE...THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO, I CAN'T COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES I'VE ACCIDENTLY DROPPED IT. WHEN I'M DRIVING I PUT THE PHONE RIGHT BETWEEN MY LEGS SO I DON'T HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT WHEN I RECEIVE A CALL AND THEN I FORGET IT'S THERE, I UNBUCKLE MY SEAT BELT, GET OUT OF THE CAR AND LO AND BEHOLD IT HITS THE GROUND BUT I JUST HIT THE SPEAKER BUTTON AND I'M LEGAL TO DRIVE BECAUSE I'M NOT EVEN HOLDING THE PHONE, ALL MY CONTACTS---THOSE WHO I TALK TO THE MOST ARE ALL ON SPEED DIAL...GREAT INVESTMENT!!

Used in a detention facility by maintenance. Tight areas , bumps and bangs , sometimes damp , extreme cold and heat, in freezers and boilers. This phone has been through a lot in a short time and has held up well. The battery life is a little short , standby is fine as soon as a couple of calls are made the indicator starts to drop. Had a Casio before with the same pros and cons , was very pleased with the quality of the phone.

you take care opening the battery port and don't put too much strain on the flap. The first one I got lasted about 15 days before the flap broke when I opened it to recharge the battery. It was under warranty so I got a replacement. The one I have now has been a great. No problem with alarms or clock.

I don.t know what the people hear have to complain about. The call quality is the best, regardless of features. No problem with back up or down load. Contact list is simple. The display is adequate. I have a tablet for text, email, surfing, etc..This is not a smart phone, but smart phones do not have this incredible call quality, or compactness. The volumes are LOUD, have mine turned down. Mine is completely water proof, drop it in the mud and rinse it of This is a indestructible great basic phone for people who want a great basic phone. Russ the Plumber, Las Vagas

I have had no problems with this phone at all yet. The reason I got this particular phone it was made for world use plus simcard. I also thought the rugged quality was a interesting feature. It is going to take a test though I am going to South America this year

I picked this phone because of the Boulder that I had carried for almost 4 years. When it finally died, this was the replacement. Not an upgrade as far as toughness at all. Some of the things that the older phone went through I would not even attempt with this one. It is ok for a basic phone, which is all I need or want, with a few upgradable apps. It's a little more rugged than most average phones but the clock skips on occasion and you have to turn it off and back on. I had problems with dropped calls in places where my other one had no issues. All and all if you ever had the Original, you will not like this phone.

I really like this phone all but one thing, rather than having the mic at the bottom of the phone like most traditional phones this one has a mic right near the hinge and one on the out side for speaker phone. The one in the hinge area is is a terrible place to have a mi,c if you try to hold the phone between your cheek and shoulder (and who does not do this) the mic gets all garbled and people can't understand yo., Also as someone with fuller cheeks if you are holding the phone to close to your ear you can have the same problem. By using my hands free I have gotten around this issue but overall I am very disappointed this just seems like such a easy problem to have spotted.
