This phone is terrible. One of many models that should have never been sold by Verizon. The alarm clock stopped working after a couple months, the backlight needs to be reset periodically or it defaults to "off," voicemail notifications are out of sync with time in this universe, text messages are frequently delayed, and many times I cannot hear the caller until several seconds into the call, leading me to believe it's this phone, not theirs, with the reception issue. I live near a brand new set of towers, so I'm confident the problem is the phone and not the network, either. In short, DON'T rely on this phone for business use.

The power button is slightly raised, so if your phone is off, but you have it in a tight fitting pocket, the power button is easily depressed, so the phone turns on. My son has to take the battery out during the school day after it turned on by itself twice and he got in trouble. He says he has no problem with the calls or texting though. As a parent of an often scatterbrained teen, I don't like that putting the battery back in the phone is yet another thing he has to remember to do.

This is an acceptable phone if you don't want to pay the data plan for a smartphone but still want easy texting and great call quality. After about six months use, I only have two issues which are not really dealbreakers for me but may be for some people. One, the alarm is not dependable, it is sometimes a few minutes late, sometimes a few minutes early, and sometimes doesn't go off at all. Doesn't bother me because I now use the alarm on my wristwatch instead. Two, every now and then, the keypad backlighting will turn itself off. Again, not hard to reset it but it might become a real pain for some people. Don't understand either of these problems because my experiences with Samsung cellphones have always been top-quality in the past.

The enclosed instructions do not give enough information for all of the features nor does the on-line info for this product. I hate finding something by accident and then not being able to find it again.

Battery life is far too short, and the 'pop-up' ads I keep getting #and cannot figure out how to stop# are not helping at all. Phone has virtually no memory and was forced to buy a memory card. Never had to do this with any other phone.

I hate my handset. The color is ghastly. My wife hates it. Both handsets sit on my kitchen counter daily because we do not take them any where. I made a bad decision getting this phone.

This phone starts off great. At first all is well. It is good for testing calling and everything else a basic phone should do. The only problem is that about a year after purchase you will most likely have a MAJOR problem. I have met other people with this phone, and the same problem. After about a year this phone will completely stop working, you will start having screen problems and then just a white screen. You will be unable to see any of what you are doing and the only way to turn it off is to take the back off and remove the battery. For a basic phone it's a nice phone...except that it should last a bit longer than a year... You're better off finding an Intensity II

I stopped using the keypad because the keys are too close together... and I have tiny little fingers... so I didn't think that was an issue. The T-9 is awful... it does not save words you use constantly. Also, when ending a sentence, instead of leaving a period, the phone wants to run through possession names... for example: if I want to say "I went to the store." when I end the sentence, instead of going straight to "store." I have to scroll through other words it picks out "story's", "store's", "storm's", "stone's", "surf's" before it just puts a period at the end of a sentence... it does this for alllll words and is extremely annoying. Also, I cannot receive more than one picture message at a time... If I receive a message with multiple slides, half the time it wont load. It will just shut the phone off and wont let me load the message. It also shuts of frequently if I text too quickly... can't keep up and shuts down. I know it isn't a great phone... just a simple dumb phone, but I expected functionality from the actions it is meant to perform. I've always had a dumb phone... I don't want to pay for data just yet and this is the worst dumb phone I have owned.

1st one the backup assistant didn't work so I took it back the next day and got another. The second one the alarm stopped working after day 14 when I could no longer return it but would have to mail it in for a "like new replacement". It is horrible to text on and I hate the thing. Can't wait to get rid of it. If I could give it no stars I would.

This phone has great features, and works well until it fails. I had a galaxy 2 that lasted a month, my replacement lasted about a year before the screen would not power down and would kill the battery in hours. My first galaxy 3 lasted 3 months before turning itself off 3-4 times a day. My replacement is worse than that right out of the box. I love the query board, but I'll give that up for reliability. Sending it back for another model !
