How To Activate Your Replacement Phone
1. Sign up for My Verizon
If you haven’t already done so, sign up for My Verizon. Once registered, you can easily activate your replacement phone using the device’s electronic serial number (ESN).
2. Save Personal Information From Your Original Device
If you have a BlackBerry® device or smartphone:
Synchronize your personal information from your original device to a computer so you can later transfer it onto your replacement device.
OR
If you have a cell phone:
Use Backup AssistantSM to save your contacts, so you can transfer them to your replacement device.
Use Backup Assistant to easily transfer your contact list from your original device to your replacement device. Download Backup Assistant

Learn how to transfer your contacts or retrieve previously purchased applications, games and ringtones using MyMedia Retrieval.
- Transfer contacts to your cell phone or data to your PDA/ smartphone
- To restore your email, refer to your owner's manual or view the online Equipment Guide for your device.
5. Return Your Defective
Device
Important: To avoid being charged up to full retail price for the replacement device, your defective device must be shipped back to Verizon Wireless within 10 days of receipt of your replacement device.**
