- Professional Soccer Player Autographs: Calling all soccer fans – Kansas City’s own Dom Dwyer will be signing autographs at the Legends Outlet Smart Store from 2-4 p.m.
- HopeLine Phone Drive: Guests are encouraged to bring and donate their no-longer-used phones and accessories, in any condition from any wireless provider. Verizon will donate all collected devices, equipped with text messaging and minutes, to domestic violence shelters for victims in need.The drive will continue through July 15, 2015.

- Twitter Sweepstakes: Help celebrate this new interactive store design with the #VZLegendsSweepstakes! Stop by the BBQ food truck from 2-6 p.m., borrow the iPlanet selfie stick to snap a photo and share it on Twitter! - HopeLine Check Presentations: HopeLine from Verizon is supporting domestic violence victims in Kansas City, Kansas with two $2,500 grants to Friends of Yates and El Centro. Please join us for a check presentation at 11:30 a.m. to honor their incredible work in the community.

- Donate a Phone, Get a Cone: Continue to support domestic violence victims by donating your no-longer-used phones and accessories to Verizon’s HopeLine program. Those who donate a device between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. will receive a free ice cream cone from Frosty Treat’s Ice Cream Truck.
- Hourly Device Giveaway: Stop by to browse the new store and enter our hourly device giveaway. Two winners will be chosen every hour between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. to win either a 4G LTE smartphone or a Verizon Wireless gift card.

- Sweet Treats: Coffee Cake KC will be parked outside Smart Store from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with all the coffee, smoothies and pastries you can image! Try out our new interactive store stations and grab a sweet treat to top off the weekend.
The Legends Outlets Verizon Wireless Smart Store opened on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Verizon Wireless introduced its new retail store design to make shopping for wireless devices and services more convenient and more personalized. The redesigned stores are called Smart Stores and feature products in mobile lifestyle zones, which include:
- Get Fit – tech gear for the active sports and fitness buff
- Amplify It – numerous Bluetooth speakers and more for the music aficionado
- Have Fun – smart toys, games and wireless gaming accessories for the family
- Home and On The Go – devices for home monitoring and energy management
- Anywhere Business – technology for the mobile professional and entrepreneur
The store is located at: 10621 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66111
Store hours: Monday – Saturday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm
