Q: Who is eligible for HD Video and Voice Calling?
A: Any Verizon customer with a compatible phone and a postpaid calling plan is eligible. Please note that the following features are currently incompatible with HD Voice: Ringback Tones, and Slacker Radio Tones. Additional incompatible features apply for Business and Government customers. Business customers may need to contact their company's Verizon Wireless account administrator to add HD Voice to their line at no addition cost.
Q: Who is eligible for the Video Calling feature that is part of HD Voice?
A: Customers with HD Voice and have a Video Calling capable phone are eligible for Video Calling. Currently, this feature is not supported on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, Nexus 6 and PRIV by BlackBerry.
HD Voice and Video Calling requirements: HD Voice requires both parties to use a Verizon HD Voice-enabled phone on Verizon's 4G LTE network. Video Calling requires HD Voice and a Video Calling-enabled phone. HD Voice and Video calls are billed like regular voice calls. Data usage also applies to Video Calls. The following features/services are incompatible with HD Voice: prepaid service and Slacker Radio Tones. Additional incompatible features apply for Business and Government customers.
