BEDMINSTER, NJ, RALEIGH, NC and SAN FRANCISCO, CA — BEDMINSTER, NJ, RALEIGH, NC and SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Summus, Inc. (USA) (OTCBB: SUMU), a leading provider of solutions that change the way information is communicated and processed through mobile devices and networks, Snapfish, the nation's leading online photo service and Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless service provider, today announced Verizon Wireless customers can use Snapfish Mobile—a new mobile personal photo-sharing application on Verizon Wireless' Get It NowSM service.

Snapfish Mobile, powered by BlueFuel™, allows customers to share, print and store photos directly from their wireless phone. The application lets customers share digital camera prints as well as traditional film photos. When Get It Now users send their film to Snapfish, they receive their prints and negatives, plus the images are scanned into an online album. Through Get Pix on Get It Now, customers can access their Snapfish account seamlessly from their phone and use the various features they are familiar with on the Web. BlueFuel is Summus' Superfast, Superthin™ platform designed for efficient and easy interaction with information in the mobile environment.

"Adding Snapfish Mobile to our menu of Get It Now services helps us anticipate a growing reliance of our customers to have information at their fingertips from virtually anywhere," said Jim Straight, vice president of wireless data and Internet services for Verizon Wireless. "Not to mention that having access to precious photos can be fun as well as necessary for some professionals, such as those in real estate or insurance."

"Verizon Wireless customers will have complete access to all their film and digital photos wherever they go," said Raj Kapoor, president and co-founder of Snapfish. "It's like carrying your entire set of photo albums with you." "We're pleased that Verizon Wireless has recognized Snapfish Mobile as a powerful application that will give its customers added value and flexibility," said Bjorn Jawerth, CEO at Summus. "Verizon Wireless continues to offer applications powered by BlueFuel and we look forward to providing Verizon Wireless with other value-added applications that will generate revenue for both companies."

Verizon Wireless customers with Get It Now-capable phones can download Snapfish Mobile over the air onto their phone and pay just $2.99 per month. As an introduction to Snapfish Mobile, Snapfish offers the first roll of film developed free and 10 free digital camera prints with a subscription to the service. The Get Pix application is available on the Motorola T720, currently $79.99 with a $100 trade-in mail-in rebate and a two-year agreement. Customers can purchase Get It Now-capable phones at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores throughout the country, at participating RadioShack locations, or online at www.verizonwireless.com.
