BEDMINSTER, NJ — Starting June 10, Verizon Wireless introduces Pay As You Go service, offering customers new, affordable price options as well as providing fun and easy-to-use applications.

The new prepay service offers everyone from kids to grandparents flat-rate pricing and Verizon Wireless reliability, without long-term contracts, monthly bills or credit checks. As always, Verizon Wireless prepay service allows customers to refill their minutes over the phone, at a Verizon Wireless Communications Store, online, as well as at RadioShack, Circuit City and other authorized agents.

Bundled with the Kyocera KX414, Verizon Wireless Pay As You Go allows customers to download fun ringtones and games with Get It Now® to pass the time in between calls. The color display phone also offers voice-activated dialing, enabling customers to prompt phone numbers by the sound of their voice.

New Verizon Wireless Pay As You Go customers who sign up for Auto-Refill by setting up their credit card information to refill their minutes will receive a one-time $10 Bonus credit. Verizon Wireless Pay As You Go also lets customers talk for $.10 per minute anywhere, anytime after a $.25 per call connection fee. The first minute of each call costs $.35 ($.25 per call connection fee plus $.10 per-minute rate). The prepay package retails for $129.99 in most markets and includes a Kyocera KX414, a $15 setup card as well as a choice between a $50 mail-in rebate or a $75 refill card (prices may vary in the Northeast).

Three refill cards will be available in $30, $50 and $75 increments. Refills completed over the phone or online will have the following expiration dates: 30 days for $15.00-$29.99 refills, 60 days for $30.00-$74.99, 90 days for $75.00-$149.99 or 120 days for $150.00 or more. Verizon Wireless Pay As You Go customers can also send and receive TXT messages for $.05 each message.

Beginning on June 10, existing [FREEUP]® and Verizon Wireless Prepay customers can use the new Verizon Wireless Pay As You Go refill cards to replenish minutes. Refill cards are available at 1-800 2 JOIN IN, Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, www.verizonwireless.com, Circuit City, 7-Eleven, RadioShack and other authorized agents. To carry their existing balance forward, customers can simply buy and initialize another card/PIN before the expiration date.
