UNIVERSAL CITY, CA and BEDMINSTER, NJ — The votes have been cast and tallied at The 2005 Teen Choice Awards on FOX, and the ladies of Wisteria Lane took home the Teen Choice Awards for the best wireless phone content on Verizon Wireless' new V CAST service. The newest award — the Choice V CAST Award — was presented to the Desperate Housewives — Mary Alice (Brenda Strong), Bree (Marcia Cross), Susan (Teri Hatcher), Lynette (Felicity Huffman), Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) and Edie (Nicolette Sheridan) — who rode away with the coveted Teen Choice Award surfboard.

V CAST from Verizon Wireless lets you break out your best potluck recipe for the celebration on Wisteria Lane and catch up on your favorite "Desperate Housewives" moments. The first wireless broadband consumer multimedia service in the country, V CAST from Verizon Wireless allows customers to view crystal clear short videos in the palms of their hands in more than 50 major metropolitan areas from coast-to-coast. Teens from across the country voted online from June 1, 2005 through August 4, 2005 for The Teen Choice Award nominees including the hottest personalities in film, television and music, Choice Comedian, Choice Hissy Fit, Choice Movie Chemistry, Choice Scream Scene, Choice Reality/Variety show, Choice Breakout Artist, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Liplock and the inaugural Choice V CAST Award.
