Nine NBC Universal Channels Coming To Verizon Wireless V CAST Phones

BASKING RIDGE, NJ, and ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ — Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the most reliable wireless voice and data network, and NBC Universal (NBCU) are bringing television's hottest programming to V CAST-enabled phones. Starting today, V CAST customers with select phones can view short video on demand from NBCU's entire suite of video channels, including NBC News, entertainment news from "Access Hollywood," NBC Sports, NBC Comedy with "The Office," "30 Rock," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," BravoToGo, NBC Entertainment, Telemundo, mun2, and iVillage.

Hit video content from NBC's Entertainment line-up includes clips from "Heroes" and "Friday Night Lights," as well as a dedicated channel for comedy clips from "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." Subscribers will also have access to Bravo's Emmy®-nominated culinary hit "Top Chef" and the upcoming Emmy-nominated "Project Runway," iVillage's love and health focused video content from the leading digital property for women, four daily updates from "Access Hollywood" and mun2's award-winning viral videos.

Verizon Wireless customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can find NBC News and entertainment news from "Access Hollywood" in the News & Weather category, NBC Sports in the Sports category, NBC Comedy and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" in the Comedy category, BravoToGo and NBC Primetime in the TV & Film category, Telemundo and mun2 in the Latino category, and iVillage in the Lifestyle category.

To get V CAST, customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription. Customers get unlimited basic video — including the nine channels from NBC Universal — but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content.
