BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Verizon Wireless, the company with the most customers of any wireless brand, today launched its enhanced Spanish-language Web site, www.verizonwireless.com/espanol. The new and improved Web site offers more content, expanded features and enhanced support for customers who prefer to browse, buy or manage their individual accounts online in Spanish.

The Spanish-language Web site now features an interactive, click-through function and Web pages that closely mirror the company's highly respected English-language Web site, verizonwireless.com.*

"This completely new site for Spanish-language customers offers an even greater breadth and depth of the information to this growing and important customer segment," said Andy Young, director, consumer internet sales and marketing for Verizon Wireless. "Our commitment is to offer the best customer experience in wireless, and feature-rich services such as 'Mi Cuenta' which demonstrates our continued desire to meet the needs of our Spanish-language customers with both content and functionality."

Customers entering the site will find easy-to-use, layered pages and tools to guide them in Spanish, and online, in-language customer support. Updated sections include "Features and Downloads," which now has more product and service information and other offers in Spanish, and the redesigned "Mi Cuenta," which lets customers view and manage their accounts online, including shopping for the latest wireless phones and accessories entirely in Spanish.

* The Verizon Wireless Web site was among the highest ranked in the nation by The Customer Respect Group. The group cited the Verizon Wireless site for "ease of use; communication; how well the company responded to specific questions through one-on-one communication; and trust," according to the First Quarter 2007 Online Customer Respect Study of the Telecommunications Industry issued in March 2007.
