Each year, the voices of the nearly half a million people rise as one as the ball drops on another year in New York City's Times Square. This year, for the first time, Verizon Wireless is offering revelers in Times Square, and throughout the country, the opportunity to make sure their individual New Year's wishes are heard or at least read at the most famous New Year's Eve party in the world.
Whether you're one of the half a million people in Times Square or sitting on your couch in Los Angeles, you will have the chance to send text messages, pictures, best wishes, or a "will you marry me?" request to Spotlight Live's 75-foot Jumbotron in Times Square. Messages can be sent from any text-capable phone, from any wireless carrier to 81878 or a pix message to NYC@pix.vzw.com. Regular text message rates apply.
Anyone with a cell phone in the U.S. will have the opportunity to interact with Spotlight Live's Jumbotron and the more than half a million New Year's Eve revelers in Times Square courtesy of Verizon Wireless.
