The VDC Conference webcast will begin at 9:30 a.m. PDT/12:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, live from the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

BACKGROUND:
The VDC Conference will be held Sept. 13 – 14 in Las Vegas and will provide mobile application developers with an update on Verizon Wireless’ overall strategy around the application ecosystem and the developer portal. The conference will include in-depth sessions on mobile commerce, connected devices, application programming interfaces (APIs) and other network enablers and opportunities for developers in vertical markets. Special sessions devoted to the company’s recently opened LTE Innovation Center in Waltham, Mass., and Application Innovation Center in San Francisco will also be offered. Verizon Wireless leaders and other partners will also talk about marketing, merchandising and technical resources available to members of the VDC.
