UPDATE: The Samsung Galaxy S III is now available online in two new colors, Black and Amber Brown. The Black model will be in Verizon Wireless stores starting Oct. 22.

Whether sharing live broadcasts with Color or taking still shots, for many, smartphones are the go-to device for capturing life’s special moments.

With the Samsung Galaxy S III, video and pictures will look as crisp as ever and are easily sharable with 4G LTE capabilities. Combined with the Galaxy S III’s new camera features, Burst Shot and Best Photo, customers will never have to worry about missing that perfect moment. With Burst Shot, hold down the shutter key and the camera takes 20 continuous photos in seconds. The Best Photo feature takes eight shots in three seconds, then highlights its selection for best shot to share.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be available on Thursday, July 12 starting at $199.99 for the 16 GB model with a two-year contract.

Additional details, features and specifications are available on the news release.
