Verizon Wireless To Offer Wilmington, North Carolina Residents Free Smartphone Workshops

WILMINGTON, NC — To help customers get the most out of their smartphones, Verizon Wireless will host free workshops in Wilmington throughout the month of November. The workshops, which are led by local Verizon data experts, will educate customers on the basics of wireless devices, covering an array of topics that include setting up email, navigating apps, customizing features and troubleshooting.
“Many of our customers who have purchased smartphones feel like they still have a lot to learn,” said Jerry Fountain, president for Verizon Wireless’ Carolinas/ Tennessee region. “The workshops will help customers maximize the capabilities of their devices and train them to master basic features and functions, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of these advanced devices.”
The workshops will be held at local Verizon Wireless stores throughout the Wilmington area and offer personalized, hands-on training to attendees at no cost. In addition to the in-store workshops, the company also offers informative, easy-to-follow online workshops for those not able to attend in person.
