Catherine Hernesh is  a public relations analyst for Verizon Wireless. She writes about the company’s HopeLine program and involvement with domestic violence prevention. Prior to joining Verizon, Catherine worked as a mental health clinician for 10 years, including direct service with survivors of domestic violence. She also served as a shelter coordinator for JBWS, formerly known as Jersey Battered Women’s Service.
