John O’Malley is the Verizon Wireless public relations manager for Upstate New York. John writes about 4G LTE’s impact across the region, the latest smartphones, tablets and other devices that ride on that network, and Verizon's community efforts. He joined the company in 1997 as a marketing communications specialist and became public relations manager for Upstate New York in 2000. John has more than 25 years experience in the corporate communications and advertising. He has a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
