SPARTANBURG, SC — Wireless services provider Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile announced today that it has launched the wireless industry's most sophisticated digital cellular phone service in Spartanburg. The new offering, called DigitalChoiceSM, delivers improved call clarity, greater battery life, and is the only digital wireless system in the area to also offer the convenience of service wherever you may travel in North America.

In addition to coast-to-coast coverage, customers who subscribe to this new digital service will receive:

- Free voice mail with message notification;
- Free TalkDial , Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile's exclusive service which allows customers to "dial" with their voice;
- Free 3-Way Calling, Call Waiting, No Answer Transfer;
- Free built-in fraud protection; and,
- Free activation.
Customers can choose from price plans beginning at $24.99 a month for DigitalChoice, and there is no activation fee. The company is offering Qualcomm digital phones in its Spartanburg Communications Stores.
