Athens, Greece — STET Hellas' (NASDAQ: STHLY) Customer Services department won first prize in the international Teleperformance "Grand Prix Customer Service Awards 2000" challenge. STET Hellas was judged to provide the best customer service in Greece, both in the "Large Call Centers" category as well as overall among the 24 call centers evaluated.

Since 1988 the Teleperformance Group has conducted its annual "Grand Prix Customer Service Awards" to measure the quality of service delivered by businesses through their call centers. Teleperformance personnel place a series of "mystery calls" to objectively evaluate the call centers. Teleperformance Group now judges call centers in 29 countries.

STET Hellas' Customer Services department received top scores for product knowledge, professionalism, accessibility, and the overall quality of the customer's experience.

During the awards ceremony held on May 19, Executive Director-Customer Services, Mr. Andreas Stricca, commented, "This prize reflects our customers' satisfaction with the high standard of service that they receive from Telestet. Our customers can be very demanding - which is why we strive to continuously improve and lead the evolution in customer service."

STET Hellas' Customer Services department operates around the clock, all year long, receiving an average 14,000 calls each day. The department's 300 employees receive continuous training in order to serve Telestet customers with top quality standards.
