ST. LOUIS, MO — With the holiday season upon us, shopping for a Verizon Wireless phone and accessories just got easier for shoppers in the St. Louis region. Verizon Wireless opened a new communications store in Chesterfield Commons, located in West St. Louis County.

This newest 2000-square-foot-store brings the total number of Verizon Wireless stores in St. Louis to 12, as well as four kiosks where Verizon Wireless products are available.

The new communications store features a variety of products and services, including local, regional and national plans. Currently, Verizon Wireless is offering $10 off monthly access fees plus 1000 free night and weekend minutes on all pricing plans, with a two-year service agreement.

"Our new location makes it easier to do business with Verizon Wireless if you live in West St. Louis County, particularly in the Chesterfield area," announced Lisa Chrzaszcz, regional president for Verizon Wireless in St. Louis. "Our customer base is rapidly expanding to West St. Louis County and St. Charles County and our new Chesterfield Commons store provides customers with increased convenience and accessibility to our products and services."

For those last minute stocking stuffers, the latest handsets and accessories are also available at this location. Hot items such as hands-free devices, including headsets (use of these devices in Illinois is illegal while driving) or installed speakerphones are available. Verizon Wireless encourages the use of hands-free devices while driving and reminds wireless users to drive responsibly and call with care this holiday season.

Grand opening festivities took place at the store December 8 and 9, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony with Chesterfield Mayor Nancy Greenwood and the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, an autograph session with St. Louis Blues forward Jochen Hecht as well as a radio remote with 93.7's The Bull.

Shawn Floyd is the manager of the Verizon Wireless communications store in Chesterfield Commons, located at 128 THF Boulevard, Suite A, Chesterfield, MO 63005. The store is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.
