Verizon Wireless/Radioshack Alliance Makes Wireless Even More Accessible In Michigan

SOUTHFIELD, MI — A national strategic alliance between Verizon Wireless and RadioShack now gives consumers greater access to wireless communications in Michigan. Under terms of this nationwide agreement, Verizon Wireless adds 33 locations in Michigan, a 10 percent increase in the company's points of distribution across the state. Some of the new locations include Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw and Muskegon.
"This strategic alliance gives Verizon Wireless customers greater service in more locations," said Dominic DeMark, director of indirect sales for Verizon Wireless. "RadioShack customers will be offered affordable wireless service that is backed by the industry leader, and Verizon Wireless customers will find RadioShack locations convenient and close to home. It's a win-win situation for both companies."
RadioShack consumers can now activate service on any Verizon Wireless consumer calling plan, including the popular DigitalChoiceSM and national SingleRatesm plans that provide more freedom while traveling due to Verizon Wireless' digital technology and coast-to-coast coverage area. Verizon Wireless serves 96 of the top 100 markets nationwide, and the DigitalChoicesm and SingleRatesm plans eliminate roaming and long-distance charges.
