Verizon Wireless Brings Celebrity Women Life Experience Series To Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI — Verizon Wireless today announced its sponsorship of the 2001 Unique Lives & Experiences series, North America's foremost women's lecture program. The company will serve as an anchor sponsor for the 2001 Milwaukee season that features personal appearances and presentations by prominent leaders. These include:

• Gloria Steinem, Tuesday, March 27
• Jehan Sadat, Monday, April 16
• Erin Brockovich, Tuesday, May 8
• Candice Bergen, Monday, June 11

All appearances begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Uihlein Hall, 929 North Water Street, Milwaukee. Each performance is approximately 90 minutes long; during the first 45-50 minutes the guest will discuss her unique life experiences, followed by a 35-45-minute question and answer period.

Unique Lives & Experiences patrons are encouraged to arrive at the Marcus Center early for pre-show activities, which include the opportunity to learn more about Verizon Wireless' product and services and sample the latest in wireless communications technology. Doors to the Marcus Center open at 6 p.m.
