BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless today announced that Boxerjam, a developer of games for wireless devices, has been selected to provide Mobile Web™ customers with two new games to play on the wireless Internet: Knockout and Dr. Popko.

Hundreds of thousands of Mobile Web customers can access the new games through the Entertainment section of the Websites site on their Internet-ready Mobile Web handsets.

In Knockout, players try to knock out the computer by matching correct answers to a pop culture topic. The pace is quick, and the topics are fun, but if players can't make the right matches, they might get knocked out.

Dr. Popko is a word-scramble game. Players choose the definition of a word whose letters have been scrambled, and earn points for correct responses.

Gary Schulman, president of the Wireless Data and Internet Services division of Verizon Wireless said, "Boxerjam's new games are good, quality fun. Players play against themselves, and the rounds go quickly. You can get a couple quick games in while waiting for an appointment or any other time you want to prove your knowledge of trivia or vocabulary."

"We are delighted to be delivering original Boxerjam games on the Verizon Wireless network with our new wireless games platform," said Allen Cunningham, CEO of Boxerjam. "This distribution agreement with Verizon Wireless brings us one step closer to achieving our goal of allowing Boxerjam games to be played on all interactive mediums: wireless, interactive television and the Internet via http://www.boxerjam.com."
