GREENWOOD, SC — Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, will open its new Greenwood communications store on Monday, March 26 at 9 a.m.
"We chose to relocate for the convenience of our customers," said Andrea Prater, store manager. "The new location will be more easily accessible for customers interested in the best quality service and technology Verizon Wireless has to offer."
The new 4,000 square-foot communications store will be located at 525 Bypass 72 Northwest and will feature a wide variety of wireless products and services. Among those products and services will be the popular SingleRatesm plans that offer one low rate with no roaming or long distance charges and a premier line of digital wireless phones and accessories. Mobile Web, the company's wireless Internet-access service, will also be available. The service provides easy-to-use access to the Internet and the option to customize information delivered to the handset.
The new communications store will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. A staff of full-time professionals will be available to help customers make decisions about calling plans and select phones and accessories, including headsets and hands-free devices. To prepare for the relocation, Verizon Wireless' current location, at 1629 Bypass 72 Northeast, will close for business at the end of the day on Friday, March 23.
