SAN RAMON, CA — In response to the growing demand for wireless communications products, Verizon Wireless is unveiling four retail stores and four retail kiosks in the Bay Area. The stores are located in Livermore, Antioch, Oakland and San Francisco, and the kiosks are located in Hayward, Pleasant Hill, Livermore and Pleasanton. Verizon Wireless now owns and operates 29 retail stores and kiosk throughout the Bay Area.

We're opening new locations to make it convenient and easy for people to stop in, browse the latest products and services, and choose Verizon Wireless."
Verizon Wireless Communications retail stores offer a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including Mobile Web, Mobile Messenger and Mobile Office, as well as a variety of phones in all price ranges, such as the Motorola 2260 with changeable color phone covers ($39.99 - two-year service activation required) to the Verizon Wireless web ready, Palm-powered Smartphone from Kyocera ($499.99 - one-year service activation required).

The Verizon Wireless kiosk locations at Safeway are at 1978 Contra Costa Blvd, in Pleasant Hill, 4495 First St. in Livermore and 1701 Santa Rita Rd in Pleasanton. The hours for the kiosks in Safeway are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
