IRVINE, CA — Verizon Wireless, Southern California's most popular wireless carrier, is celebrating the grand opening of seven new stores in the five-county Greater Los Angeles area and San Diego County with a Lakers-oriented fun at all Southern California stores.
Laker Girls will join the one-day celebration, Saturday April 21 at Verizon Wireless' newest retail stores located in Del Mar (2:00-4:00 p.m.), Long Beach (4:00-6:00 p.m.), Metro Pointe - Costa Mesa (2:00-4:00 p.m.), Panorama City (3:00-5:00 p.m.), Rosemead (2:00-4:00 p.m.) and Stonecrest Plaza - San Diego (2:00-4:00 p.m.) and Torrance (12:00-2:00 p.m.).
The company is celebrating at all 66 Verizon Wireless Communications stores throughout Southern California, and will offer giveaways and promotions including:
- Free Lakers playoff tickets (2 tickets are available per store). Customers can enter a drawing to win this Saturday only. Tickets will be awarded at Verizon Wireless retail stores on Monday, April 23. No purchase necessary. Contestants must be 18 or older to win. (One entry per person. Verizon Wireless employees and their families are not eligible).
- Free team photos of the Lakers and Laker Girls will be available at all Verizon Wireless Communication Stores and sales kiosks while supplies last. (No purchase is necessary).
- Free Razor™ Scooter. Customers who sign a one or two year service agreement for a new line of service on Digital Plus 200 or above will receive a free Razor scooter. (Please see in-store "Terms of Acceptance" for safety, liability and return policy information).
- $19.99 instant activation rebate. Customers who sign up on a two-year Digital Plus 200 Plan or above will receive a $19.99 instant activation rebate on the Audiovox CDM 135 digital phone, and get 1,700 minutes a month (200 Anytime, 500 Night and Weekend and 1000 Mobile to Mobile minutes) for just $19.99 a month to start, $34.99 a month thereafter.
Verizon Wireless' grand opening event and giveaways are valid this Saturday, April 21 only at all Greater Los Angeles and San Diego Verizon Wireless Communications Stores. The new store addresses and hours of operation are as follows:
