HIALEAH, FL — Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, has opened its newest retail outlet at the Town Center Mall in Port Charlotte. This is the first Verizon Wireless retail location in Charlotte County and the company's 55th retail presence in Florida.
A grand opening celebration is planned for April 28, with festivities including music, food, refreshments, contests, children's activities, special discounts and giveaways. The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders will be posing for photos and signing autographs at the Verizon Wireless kiosk between noon and 4 p.m. that day.
Priscilla Bauer is the manager of the Port Charlotte kiosk. The kiosk, located on the mall's main floor near the Food Court, is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The telephone number is (941) 624-3620.
