Verizon Wireless Opens Two New Retail Locations In Clark County

LAS VEGAS, NV — In its continuing effort to provide the latest wireless products and services at convenient, accessible locations, Verizon Wireless has opened two new retail locations in Clark County; one in Las Vegas and one in Henderson. Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless communications provider in the nation, now owns and operates 22 retail stores and kiosks throughout the area.

"Since last April, we have invested more than $80 million in our Clark County wireless network, more than doubling our digital footprint and enhancing call quality and digital voice reception for local customers," said Craig Scott, director of retail sales for Verizon Wireless. "This effort, combined with the opening of new Verizon Wireless Communications Stores conveniently located throughout metro Las Vegas, enables Clark County residents to benefit from Verizon Wireless' superior network, and variety of service plans available to fit any lifestyle and income."

Verizon Wireless retail stores also offer a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and text messaging services including Mobile Web^SM, Mobile Messenger^SM and Mobile Office^SM. The stores also offer a variety of phones in all price ranges, from the Motorola 2260 with changeable color phone covers ($19.99 - two-year service activation required) to the Verizon Wireless Web-ready, Palm-powered Smartphone from Kyocera ($499.99 - one-year service activation required).

Clark County residents can also take advantage of a national springtime promotion that gives new and existing customers 2,000 free weekend air time minutes monthly when they sign up for selected national, regional or local digital rate plans. The 2,000 free weekend air time minutes are available to existing as well as new customers and they keep the minutes for as long as they remain on the rate plan selected at activation (new annual agreement required).
