"It's the right thing to do," says Roger Tang, president - Pennsylvania/West Virginia/Ohio region, Verizon Wireless. "A driver's first responsibility to drive safely. Verizon Wireless believes that the use of a hands-free device, which enables the driver to keep both hands on the wheel, increases the safety of our streets and highways. Locally, we are proud to work with Sunnyside Automotive Group in getting our responsible message out to the public."
Verizon Wireless, The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) and wireless carriers across the country have sponsored Wireless Safety Week each year since 1990 to focus attention on the important issue of safety.
