MILWAUKEE, WI — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee's Youth of the Year will be going to the "concert of the year," compliments of Verizon Wireless. Michelle Mrstik, a recent graduate of Thomas Moore High School, will attend the *NSYNC 2001 POPODYSSEY concert Tuesday, June 26, at Miller Park, as a guest of Verizon Wireless. The company is a sponsor of the *NSYNC Summer Concert Tour.

Michelle was named Youth of the Year, from the Irving J. Seher Branch, of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee. "From what I hear, Michelle's academic success, leadership skills and outstanding community service are worthy of praise and recognition," said Greg Klimek, president of the Wisconsin/Illinois Region for Verizon Wireless. "We're thrilled to be able to treat her to something special for all of her accomplishments. We hope she has a wonderful time at the event."

Michelle's special afternoon begins with a limousine ride to Miller Park for a 3:30 p.m. Sound Check Party with the band. During the sound check, the VIP audience may ask questions of *NSYNC and will receive autographed pictures of the band. After the Sound Check Party, Michelle and other Verizon Wireless VIP guests will be treated to refreshments in a special hospitality area and then to the day's main event, the concert.

Michelle, an 11-year member of the Irving J. Seher branch, has been active in the Boys & Girls Club's swim team, arts and crafts, the computer room, the Credit Union, the Keystone Club, Critter Club and the Study Buddy program. She is also very involved in her community through flower and tree-plantings, neighborhood clean-ups and graffiti removal. Michelle plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the fall where she will study elementary education.

Children's Hospital Patient and Make-A-Wish Child Will Also Attend Concert

Verizon Wireless is also sending Catie Orlandini, 11, to the *NSYNC concert. Catie is recuperating at home in the Town of Genessee from a recent gallbladder operation at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee.

"Catie is thrilled to go to the concert," said Manda Orlandini, Catie's mother. "She is very involved in music - she plays the piano and plays music all the time at home. *NSYNC is one of her favorite bands," she added.

Catie, a sixth-grader at Prairie View Elementary School in the Town of Genessee, is the oldest of four children and is a big help around the house, said Mrs. Orlandini.

A third teenager, Chelsea Anjeski, will also get her wish granted to see *NSYNC in concert. Verizon Wireless will be sending Chelsea, a 15-year-old wish child with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin, to the June 26 performance along with her mom, Deb, and girlfriend, Stevie Bolger, who is flying in from Fairfax, VA, for the special event.

"We are very pleased that we could grant Chelsea's wish. We think it's a great opportunity and hope she'll have a wonderful time," said Klimek.

Chelsea, a sophomore at Verona High School, enjoys soccer, dancing, drama, going to movies and theater, hanging out with friends and babysitting. She and her family live in Verona, WI.

A limousine will chauffeur Catie, Chelsea and their guests to Miller Park. Prior to the concert, the girls and a select group will be treated to the Sound Check and Verizon Wireless hospitality parties.

Verizon Wireless has also donated several concert tickets to the following charitable organizations: The Ronald McDonald House; Children's Service Society and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Milwaukee.

"Verizon Wireless hopes the opportunity to see *NSYNC live will be the thrill of these children's young lives and will give them great memories that will last forever," said Klimek.
