DENVER, CO — In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for local residents, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, today announced that it has expanded its digital network in the greater Denver/Boulder area.

"Our new cell sites will provide customers with greater wireless network coverage and increased clarity when making wireless calls in the Denver and Boulder areas," said Marni Walden, Mountain Region President for Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless customers will notice improved digital service in the following general vicinities in Denver: between South Lincoln and University, at Federal and Evans, at Sante Fe and Belleview and on 104th Avenue just west of 1-76.

In the Boulder area, improved digital service will be added along Highway 36, Highway 128, Colorado Boulevard and on Marshall Road.

These network enhancements are part of Verizon Wireless' $40 million investment this year in Colorado to improve its extensive, nationwide wireless network.
