DENVER, CO — Ask any wireless user what they want most from their carrier and it will undoubtedly fall into two areas -- network coverage and more minutes. Verizon Wireless, already meeting the challenge of coverage with its expansive coast-to-coast network, has answered the question of more minutes by offering 3,000 free home airtime minutes each month for life on local, regional, national or Family SharePlansSM. As long as a customer chooses an eligible rate plan and stays on that plan, they will always have 3,000 [nights and weekend] home airtime minutes. Customers can take advantage of the offer from now through Nov. 12th.

Keep it in the Family

Anyone looking for an economical way for family members to stay in touch can now sign up for a Family SharePlan and take advantage of the 3000 minutes-for-life offer and spread the monthly minute allotment over up to four phones.

By signing up by Nov.12th, as long as Family SharePlanSM customers stay on the same rate plan, the entire family is eligible to take advantage of the 3,000 minute offer.

"Families tend to rely on their wireless phones to coordinate hectic schedules. Teenagers on college campuses, loved ones traveling for the holidays or those checking on aging parents all depend on wireless technology," said Marni Walden, Mountain Region president for Verizon Wireless.

Handset Values Complete the Package

To further help families on the Family SharePlanSM as well as digital customers on select rate plans of $35.00 a monthly access and above, customers who buy the Nokia 5185i, priced at $49.99, will receive up to three additional Nokia 5185i handsets with each additional line of service activation.
