SALT LAKE CITY, UT — In response to the growing demand for Verizon Wireless' communications products, the nation's largest wireless provider has opened a new retail store in Salt Lake City. Located in the Gateway Center, the new retail outlet has created seven new jobs. The company now owns and operates 11 Verizon Wireless Communications stores throughout Utah, which together employ more than 60 people.
"Wireless communications products and services are becoming more affordable everyday especially with our current offering," said Elizabeth Brownson, director of retail stores.
Verizon Wireless' stores offer a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including MobileWeb, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile Office.
