CAMDEN, NJ — The Rutgers University School of Business at Camden has named Ann McCrystal, regional president of Verizon Wireless, to its Executive Advisory Council. In her advisory council role, McCrystal's responsibilities will include serving as a resource to the business school on industry trends and supporting its strategic objectives.

"Each member of our Executive Advisory Council is highly regarded within her or his profession. All are vested in their communities, and in their dedication to establish Rutgers-Camden as a premier resource for business education," says Dr. Milton Leontiades, dean of the Rutgers University School of Business at Camden.

McCrystal is president of Verizon Wireless' Philadelphia Tri-State Region, one of the most competitive wireless markets in the U.S. Appointed in April 2000, she is responsible for regional sales, the expansion of the company's extensive wireless network, finance, customer service and retail sales.

McCrystal brings more than 20 years of experience in customer service, management, human resources, information systems, retail sales and sales operations to this position. The Philadelphia Tri-State region includes southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and its suburbs, the Lehigh Valley and Delaware. McCrystal earned a B.A. in accounting from Rutgers University in 1983 and is also a Certified Public Accountant. She also serves on the board of directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
