SOUTHFIELD, MI — In response to the growing demand for the company's voice and data products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, recently opened four new retail stores in Michigan.
- The company's first location in Ann Arbor is located at 2570 Jackson Avenue in Maple Village.
- Verizon Wireless' first Canton store is located at 42447 Ford Road in Canton Corners.
- The company's first location in Fenton is located at 17245 Silver Parkway.
- Verizon Wireless opened its second store in Southfield at 20128 W. 8 Mile Road.
Each new store provides a wide range of wireless communications products and services and features a premier line of digital wireless phones in all price ranges as well as data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including Mobile Web, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile Office.
"Locations were selected based on accessibility to the company's customer base as well as an increasing demand for wireless technology," said Wayne White, region president - Michigan, Verizon Wireless. "Our company is committed to bringing our products and services closer to where our customers live and work."
The four store openings bring the total number of Verizon Wireless stores and kiosks in Michigan to 47 employing more than 400 people.
