PARAMUS, NJ — In response to the growing demand for the company's voice and data products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, has opened a new Communications Store located on Route 4 West between Forest and Hackensack Avenues in Paramus. The new store is the fifth Verizon Wireless retail location in Bergen County, and third to open this year. The company also owns and operates a Communications Store at 469 Route 17 South in Paramus, a kiosk at the Paramus Park Mall and two kiosks in the Garden State Plaza.
"Demand for our wireless services is growing, as more people take advantage of high-value calling plans like SingleRateSM East, our popular Mobile Web services and FREEUP, a prepaid service designed for young adults," said Sal Selvaggi, manager of the new store.
Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Route 4 store is one of 12 new retail locations Verizon Wireless plans to open this year in the New York Metro area to make shopping for wireless products and services easier and more convenient for customers. The new stores will create more than 150 sales and customer service positions as well as business opportunities for local construction, architectural and real estate firms.
