MILWAUKEE, WI — The complementary nature of wireless communications and year-round outdoor activity will be highlighted at the 62nd Annual Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show with Verizon Wireless serving as a presenting sponsor for the show.
Scheduled March 8-17 at the Midwest Express Center, the Sports Show is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors from Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The event is the largest recreation consumer show held indoors in Wisconsin and one of the largest of its kind in the nation.
"The Sports Show is a natural venue for us," said Tracy Nolan, regional president for Verizon Wireless. "It covers all of the bases from boating and fishing to hunting, camping and travel. Enthusiasts of these diverse activities often carry wireless phones with them as they're out and about. They appreciate the convenience and security of clear wireless communications."
Verizon Wireless stores in the Milwaukee area will serve as official ticket outlets for the Sports Show. Tickets can be purchased at the following Verizon Wireless locations:

As part of the sponsorship, Verizon Wireless will be featured in all Sports Show advertising and promotional materials. The company will also participate as an exhibitor in the show.
