BEDMINSTER, NJ AND STAMFORD, CT — Verizon Wireless today announced that its customers can now get trusted financial information by downloading Forbes.com Wireless. Powered by SmartServ Online, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSOL), Forbes.com Wireless can be downloaded over the air onto select Verizon Wireless phones.

Once downloaded, Forbes.com Wireless users can access financial market data provided by SmartServ, including stock quotes, indexes and news. Additional features include a symbol search tool, and a customizable watch list, giving consumers the power to track up to 10 stocks directly from their mobile handsets.

"Downloadable applications, such as Forbes.com Wireless, are available nationally to our customers, and we believe they will help us achieve our goal in morphing the wireless phone into a resource for consumers who want and need up-to-the minute information that may be critical to their financial and professional success," said Jim Straight, vice president of wireless data and Internet services for Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless subscribers with BREW-enabled phones can download Forbes.com Wireless for $4.75 per month. Additional entertainment, gaming and productivity applications available through the "BREW Shop" can also be downloaded. Airtime charges accrue during the selection and download process, which depending on the application size, may take seconds or a few minutes, airtime charges apply for updated information. Purchased applications will appear on the customer's monthly Verizon Wireless service bill.

BREW services are initially available on the Kyocera 3035e ($49.99 with a two year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate) and on the Verizon Wireless Z-800 with full color display ($399.99 with a two year service agreement), and the Kyocera 3035e ($49.99 with a two year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate). Customers can purchase a BREW-capable phone at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at http://www.verizonwireless.com. Additional BREW phones will be available soon.
