LAS VEGAS, NV — Today at the CTIA Wireless IT and Internet 2002 Show, Gateway, Inc. (NYSE:GTW) launches its Mobile Wireless Solution that uses Verizon Wireless' Express NetworkSM. Available this week in the Las Vegas, Dallas and Houston areas, the new Gateway service gives mobile professionals access to their data on the road via a wireless Internet connection. The Gateway Mobile Wireless Solution will give businesses a single source for their mobile computing and connectivity needs, including service, installation, integration, security and equipment. Through Verizon Wireless' Express Network, Gateway customers can connect wirelessly to their e-mail, corporate data and the Internet at average speeds between 40 and 60 kpbs-similar to or better than a home dial-up connection.
