BEDMINSTER, NJ, and ALEXANDRIA, VA — Verizon Wireless and Re-route Corporation announced today that they have begun migrating current Verizon Wireless Mobile Web customers to Mobile Web by VZW with MSN®, the wireless data portal jointly developed by Verizon Wireless and Microsoft Corporation. Current Mobile Web customers can easily transfer their settings to Mobile Web by VZW with MSN to initiate the redirect service, which includes automatic e-mail forwarding and change-of-address notifications. The Mobile Web by VZW with MSN service gives consumers access to popular MSN services from any Web-enabled Verizon Wireless digital phone, including MSN Messenger service, Microsoft® .NET alerts and MSN Hotmail®. In addition to access to popular MSN services, there is content available from more than 30 other content providers such as ESPN, ABC, Hollywood.com, and more.

"Verizon Wireless has made it easy for current Mobile Web customers to migrate to the Mobile Web by VZW with MSN service," said Re-route president, John Skowlund. "The Re-route e-mail forwarding and change-of-address notification services allow for a seamless transition for customers switching to a new Hotmail or MSN e-mail address."

"After taking just five minutes to log on and initiate the change, customers can begin to enjoy a vast array of new offerings and a richer data experience."

The e-mail forwarding services are provided for current Verizon Wireless customers using the MyVZW.com Mobile Web portal. Customers can visit http://vzw.msn.com to begin the movement to the new portal.
