ORANGEBURG, NY — Bergen County resident Thomas Berkshire, communications store manager for Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless carrier, recently was named one of the company's top sales achievers for 2002. He was one of only nine Verizon Wireless employees to receive the President's Cabinet Award, the highest sales honor attainable, for the company's New York Metro area. Award winners received a trip to Banff, Canada.

Berkshire earned the award based on his sales leadership and exceptional customer service.
