BEDMINSTER, NJ, WATERTOWN, MA and SAN DIEGO — From the 2003 BREW Developers Conference, Verizon Wireless, Mobile-Mind, Inc. and Xap Corporation today announced the launch of XAPwordsTM for the SAT® and GRE® on Verizon Wireless Get it NowSM-enabled phones. XAPwords helps students prepare for standardized college exams with a vocabulary builder that includes 500 of the most frequently tested SAT® and GRE® words. Verizon Wireless customers preparing for the SAT or GRE can download the XAPwords application to study words and definitions, take quizzes, track scores, and make personalized Flash Cards, turning spare minutes at the bus stop or waiting for the game to start into fun and productive study time.

Verizon Wireless' Get it Now service lets customers download full-featured applications over the air onto their wireless phones, including games, personalized ring tones, productivity tools and more. XAPwords is the first college prep application featured on Get It Now, giving students the opportunity to put an interactive vocabulary-enhancing product into their pockets and backpacks. After downloading the XAPwords application, students can access their XAPwords at any time from virtually any location. An additional XAPwords feature, "My History", allows students to review progress and track performance.

Allen Firstenberg, President and CEO of Xap Corporation said, "We are delighted that an industry leader like Verizon Wireless is making XAPwords available to its customers. XAPwords is the first in a suite of wireless educational applications we will roll out in the coming months, and as the number of students using wireless phones continues to increase, we expect there to be significant demand for these products."

Bill Mangino, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Mobile-Mind said, "We are delighted to offer Xap's outstanding test prep materials to Verizon Wireless subscribers. XAPwords is a breakthough application that puts test preparation resources at the fingertips of every student with a mobile phone."

XAPwords was developed by Mobile-Mind, Inc., and is powered by Number2.com, a division of Xap Corporation. XAPwords is the latest addition to Mobile-Mind's mobile learning suite. Related wireless products include Mobile-Lingo, Mobile-Student, Mobile-Q and coming soon — XAPmathTM, and XAPverbalTM.
