BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider and operator of the nation's best, most reliable wireless network, today announced an expansive upgrade to its online component, www.verizonwireless.com.

The enhanced layout and site design helps customers find what they need faster and gives them better access to the latest consumer and business products, services and promotions. It also makes it easier to apply for jobs, pursue a business relationship, sign up to receive news via e-mail or contact different divisions of the company.

"These enhancements to the Verizon Wireless site are part of our greater e-business strategy to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, to make it easier for suppliers to do business with us and to attract prospective employees who demonstrate the quality and commitment we expect," said John Stratton, vice president and chief marketing officer of Verizon Wireless. "As more and more people use the Internet as a resource tool, we want to make sure verizonwireless.com offers important information in the most intuitive format."

The "My Account" section, now conveniently located on the front page of the Web site, lets customers get useful details about their account, review, print and pay bills and update contact information. Customers can also check minutes used and minutes available, update account information, add or change features and make equipment upgrades. [FREEUP]® prepay customers can go to this section to add [REUP] refills to their accounts.

Spanish-speaking Customers

Spanish-speaking customers can visit www.verizonwireless.com/Espanol for online access to Verizon Wireless' award-winning products and services. The Web site complements the company's already established list of Spanish-speaking offerings, such as a team of Spanish-speaking customer service representatives at 1-800-2 JOIN IN (1-800-256-4646) and in many Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, and the recent launch of the Spanish language mobile chat service blah!.
