BEDMINSTER, NJ and HOUSTON — Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation's largest and most reliable wireless network, today announced that Get It NowSM customers can satisfy their need for speed and precision handling with dwango Racing from dwango wireless, a leading developer and publisher of wireless applications and technology. With dwango Racing, players can select one of three car options and race against seven different, highly competitive rivals.

The release of dwango Racing follows the recent launch of dwango's STAR EXCEEDTM game for Get It Now customers. Get It Now from Verizon Wireless is a virtual store with hundreds of applications available for download over the air — without hooking up to a PC or visiting a Verizon Wireless Communications Store.

dwango Racing players strive to be the first to cross the finish line by using nitro boosts and carefully avoiding obstacles. When competitors beat their rivals, they advance to the next racetrack, with a total of eight different tracks in the game. dwango Racing is available in the Fun & Games shopping aisle under the getGAMES section of Get It Now. Other shopping aisles include Messaging, Info and Flix & Pix.

"We are happy to have our second title available for Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers," said Robert E. "dwangobob" Huntley, founder and chief executive officer of Dwango North America, Inc. "dwango Racing gives gaming fans the control to create a new customized game each time they play. Gamers can choose from three different vehicle options for the eight racetracks. The unique racing strategies of the seven rivals will keep them on the edge of their seats."

"Car racing games have always been a favorite in arcades and we expect dwango Racing to be very popular," said Jim Straight, vice president of wireless Internet and multimedia services for Verizon Wireless. "Get It Now brings the arcade experience, minus the crowds and strobe lights, right to your wireless phone — it's like being a kid again."

Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications.
