BEDMINSTER, NJ and IRVING, TEXAS — Verizon Wireless and Nokia (NYSE: NOK) today announced the availability of the new Nokia 3589i wireless phone. The full-color Nokia 3589i phone facilitates personalization with its graphical Caller-ID icons, optional Xpress-on front and back color covers and capacity to download polyphonic ring tones. Additionally, support for Verizon Wireless' Get It NowSM service allows Nokia 3589i phone owners to download exciting entertainment and productivity applications directly to their handsets.

Get It Now from Verizon Wireless is a virtual store with hundreds of applications available for download over the air - without hooking up to a PC or visiting a Verizon Wireless Communications Store.

With easy-to-use graphical menus, built-in help text, dual soft-key navigation and a four-way scroll, the Nokia 3589i phone is engineered for wireless users at all experience levels. Quickly becoming the de facto standard for mobile professionals to access their intranet, e-mail and the Internet, Verizon Wireless' NationalAccess network is available on the Nokia 3589i phone.

The Nokia 3589i phone is available for just $49.99 after mail-in rebate, a two-year service agreement and activation at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at www.verizonwireless.com. The Mobile Office Connectivity Kit, also available at Verizon Wireless Communications stores, is $69.99.

Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading, and using certain applications.
