TAMPA, FL — Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, has appointed Shane Scoville as area director of telemarketing for the southern United States, including the Florida region.
In his new Tampa-based position, Scoville will manage the daily operations of the telephone sales center and monitor the sales goals for new activations, contract renewals, and accessory and wireless data sales. Scoville will oversee 105 sales representatives.
"Shane's extensive experience in sales and operations will help us strengthen our telesales division throughout Florida and the southern U.S.," said Mike Lanman, Florida region president of Verizon Wireless. "His role is especially important now, since customers have the option to choose a different wireless carrier while keeping their number."
Scoville, an Odessa resident, has more than 8 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
