SOUTHFIELD, MI — Barry Kelley has been promoted to associate director of business sales for Verizon Wireless' Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region. In this position, he is responsible for directing and managing outside regional sales teams in acquiring small- to medium-sized business accounts.

Kelley has been with Verizon Wireless and its legacy companies for 10 years. Previously as associate director of strategic sales, he led a team of major account managers who were responsible for cultivating Fortune 500 customers in Michigan.

In 1992, Kelley earned his bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Michigan, where he was part of four Big 10 championship football teams. He resides in Pontiac with his wife, Kendra, and their son, Caleb.
